My name is Kathi and I am a survivor too. I know some days seem really hard, feeling all of the same stuff we did way back when and thinking the same will happen again. I often have to just stop, sit down and breath.... stay in the now...

  1) Am I safe right now?
  2) Am I hurting inside or outside of myself?
  3) Can I comfort me and only me for the next few minutes?
  4) Think of 10 things I am grateful for right now...

After I sit for that 10 minutes and take care of only me and no one else; stay in the now of Right NOW and not think about or dwell on the past; realize I am OK Right Now; appreciate the present and all
I have and all that I have come from... I know I am in a better place...

Today, I am a Survivor and not a victim...
Today, I have a Voice and I know how to use it...
